The Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs (ODESLA), Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) and the NEDA-LEDAC Secretariat conducted its Assessment and Coordination Meeting for the 1st Quarter of CY 2015 on February 25, 2015 at the NEDA Board Room. The meeting, which was unanimously agreed upon to be conducted regularly every quarter, was attended by Socioeconomic Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan, PLLO Secretary Manuel N. Mamba, and DES Michael Aguinaldo of ODESLA. Other officials and technical staff from ODESLA, PLLO, and NEDA-LEDAC Secretariat were also present.

 

The meeting focused on the status updates on the Presidential Legislative Agenda (PLA) and the proposed Common Legislative Agenda (CLA). Shepherding strategies were also discussed to ensure passage of these measures. The updates on the PLA was presented by Undersecretary Bernardino E. Sayo of PLLO-House of Representatives, while the updates on the proposed Common Legislative Agenda was presented by Director Jocelyn P. Reyes, Supervising Official of the LEDAC Secretariat.

 

The meeting was primarily aimed to identify bills that can possibly be passed during the 16th Congress.
