The Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs (ODESLA), Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) and the NEDA-LEDAC Secretariat conducted its Assessment and Coordination Meeting for the 1st Quarter of CY 2015 on February 25, 2015 at the NEDA Board Room. The LEDAC Secretariat, together with the NEDA Legal Staff, conducted its Strategic Assessment Workshop on 15 to 16 December 2014 at One Tagaytay Suites, Tagaytay City.  The workshop focused on the presentation, discussion and assessment on the Work and Financial Plan (WFP) and Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS).  Guest speakers from the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office of both houses of Congress also graced the event.  Usec. Bernardino E. Sayo of the PLLO- House of Representatives conducted a lecture on  “How a Bill becomes a Law” and Dir. Evelyn S. Ruiz of PLLO-Senate presented a lecture on “Senate Investigation In Aid of Legislation”.  An assessment on LEDAC Secretariat duties and matching of legislative agenda in the PDP 2011-2016 were also discussed.

Legislative Liaison System – Security, Justice and Peace Cluster holds meeting

The Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) Secretariat organized and conducted the Symposium/Orientation on Legislative Processes and Advocacy as a follow-up orientation on the legislative processes conducted on May 5, 2011. The LEDAC Executive Committee (Execom) convened on May 20, 2013 to discuss the remaining common legislative agenda (CLA) for legislative action in the last two session days of the 15th Congress.
